Royal Far West // Fragility and Friendship

Celebrating the work of Royal Far West

THE ASSIGNMENT
Since 1924 Royal Far West has tirelessly worked with families, schools, healthcare professionals and local communities to provide health and education services to disadvantaged children in rural areas across the state of New South Wales, Australia.

An exhibition was held at NSW Parliament House celebrating the history of Royal Far west and curated by photographer Jean-François Lanzarone. The stories captured in this exhibition are not just about hardship and suffering — they are stories of strength, courage, resilience, hope, love and innovation…

…of fragility and friendship.

AUDIENCE ENGAGED
The exhibition engaged a number of audiences including:

  • Government and Healthcare
  • Local indigenous groups
  • Fundraising
  • Organisation stakeholders (staff, board, partners and patients)

MY ROLE
